FAQ
I have a ticketing issue. Who do I contact?
Any ticketing / technical issues will be handled by Eventbrite.com. Contact Eventbrite customer support at https://www.eventbrite.com/support/contact-us.
What is the difference between an "Early Bird" ticket and a "General Admission" ticket?
It’s the same ticket, just cheaper. Early Bird gives you the full event experience for a limited-time discounted price.
How can I upgrade my table or make other changes to my booking?
For any inquiries, including requests to upgrade your table or add more seats, please contact us directly at 312-319-2959 or info [at] hauntedhalloweenball.com. Please note that all upgrades and changes are subject to capacity and availability.
What is the refund policy?
All tickets are non-refundable.
Does the name on my ticket need to match my ID?
No, the name on the ticket does not need to match your ID. Tickets are transferable. However, all guests must present a valid, government-issued ID at the door to verify they are 21 or older. Each guest must have their own unique QR code. For example, if there is a group of 2 people, there must be 2 QR codes.
What is the ticket transfer policy?
General Admission Tickets are Transferable. We will only let the first scan into the event. Table tickets are NOT transferable. The table buyer MUST be present. Be cautious of getting General Admission tickets from people you do not know. Many of these are counterfeit tickets.
Is there nearby parking?
There is a lot of parking near the hotel including a garage right behind the hotel.
What is the dress code? Can I wear a costume?
Yes! Costumes are highly encouraged. This is an upscale event, but it’s Halloween, so we want you to be creative. Just about any tasteful costume is welcome. Your costume must allow us to identify you. This is a strictly 21+ event, and our staff must be able to clearly match your face to your valid government-issued ID. You may be asked to remove any masks, helmets, or headpieces at the entrance for identification. We reserve the right to deny admission without a refund if your costume prevents us from verifying your identity.
- There are no weapons (including FAKE) allowed
- No detachable items from your costume will be allowed
- Do NOT bring any sort of bag to the event. You will not be able to bring it into the event. Small purses are OK. If the bag is attached to your costume that is OK; however, if it can be detached, it will need to be checked at the bell desk.
Can I bring props like fake weapons, wands, or canes?
No. To ensure the safety of all guests, no weapons of any kind are allowed. This includes fake, toy, or replica weapons. Additionally, any large items that can be detached from your costume will not be permitted inside the event.
What is your bag policy? Can I bring a purse?
We have a strict bag policy to ensure quick and safe entry for all guests. NOT Allowed: Backpacks, large bags, or tote bags. You will not be able to bring them in.
ALLOWED: Small purses are perfectly fine. We define a "small bag" by the following guidelines: Dimensions: Your bag must be no larger than 4.5" x 6.5" (about 11cm x 16.5cm).
Visual Guide: A good rule of thumb is that it should be roughly the size of a hand.
All bags are subject to search. Final approval of any bag is at the discretion of venue security.
Costume Bags: If a bag is a permanent, non-detachable part of your costume, it is allowed. However, if the bag can be removed from your costume (like a satchel or pouch), you will be required to check it at the hotel's bell desk.
The hotel security team has the final decision on all safety matters. Please be respectful of their instructions to ensure a great night for everyone.
Is there a Coat Check?
Yes a Coat Check will be available For $5 to all guests.
